Standalone AC-DC Power Supply / Float Battery Charger for Lead-Acid Batteries

The SR750HL range is designed for use as a reliable and stable AC to DC power supply, or float charger for lead-acid batteries. Note that for float charging the output voltage must be set to approximately 15% above the nominal battery voltage models. This is done as the default voltage for the 12V model but must be specified at time of order for all higher voltage models.

Temperature compensation option is required when PSU is used for charging batteries. The temperature compensation feature ensures batteries are charged to full capacity in cold environments and protected from over-charging in hot environments.

Our range of 500W-750W models have relay alarms for monitoring output voltage, mains and PSU failure parameters.  The new SR500HL model has improved its thermal reliability with two fans relocated to dissipate heat more effectively and increase life span of critical components such as capacitors, shunts, and transformers.

The standard input voltage of the unit is 180-264VAC but it can be easily customised to 88-132VAC for the American market. It can also be used as DC-DC converter, for more information about this application please contact our team of engineers at sales@heliosps.co.nz
