Modular – Convection Cooled Rectifiers 2000W

The MHE rectifier utilizes Efore’s long experience and latest technology on high-performance industrial power supplies. MHE rectifiers are designed to meet demanding requirements of utility, industrial, rail and telecom applications with high efficiency and reliability requirements.

MHE rectifiers are convection cooled and require no fans. Rated output power is 2000W  in 48V – 220V output versions and 1500W in 24 V version. Rectifier input is single phase, range 85-300 VAC.

Rectifiers can be operated either with a VIDI+ system controller or as stand-alone modules with or without batteries in the output. The MHE is capable of sharing the output load in a maximum configuration of 48 paralleled units. It is also able to communicate status and operational parameters to the system control unit via the PowerCAN. An indicator light is located on the front panel of the unit indicating the operational status.

Constant Power and Constant Current Characteristics

The MHE rectifier provides constant output power characteristics. If the load rises above the maximum power, the output voltage decreases in order to maintain a constant output power. In addition, the maximum load current is limited, and above that level (Imax) the output voltage sinks rapidly. The voltage recovers automatically when the load is lower.

The maximum output power limit characteristics are scalable using the VIDI. The scaling parameter (together with many others) is stored in the rectifier’s permanent memory in order to ensure that the unit remembers the setting, even after a long power off.
